the details.
I was lost when given the question: How do you see the world? I did not know how to answer this because a question so broad is difficult to answer concretely.
The world as a whole is overwhelming to me. There are so many parts that are continuously changing, it is hard to keep up with everything. In order to process the world, I break it down into smaller pieces. I see my world in parts: school life, nature, family, and synchronized swimming. Each part being very different from each other, and each adding a different element to my world.
This project shows each part of my world as a mosaic. Each smaller image representing a part of a larger sum. The smaller images showing the details, the individual, the smaller ideas, which come together to create the full image.
